Welcome to geo.computer

This webapp is designed for collecting human corrections of GPS lat-longs.

Use geo.computer in the browser on any GPS-enabled device (laptop, tablet, smartphone …).

Sign in with a Google account, like Gmail.
Allow it to know your location all the time.
The "you are here" point moves around with you.

How to collect data

1. Stop moving, to collect a data point.
2. Wait until the red marker stops moving.
3. It will almost certainly not show your exact location.
4. Zoom in and use satellite view to be sure.
5. If it’s not the right location, tap or click Fix This at the bottom.
6. Then tap or click the map once where you actually are.
7. Go to different places and repeat from step 1.

Menu options

The hamburger menu (☰) at the lower right lets you:

* Download a CSV of your GPS points with your corrections.
* Clear all your data (it’s per user) and start again.
